Learn how to design a STRATA ART QUILT—a simply pieced long narrow quilt
using only short strips of fabric. Learn about successful use of color and
value, creating a balanced design, and selecting fabrics that work together to
make an interesting and exciting quilted wall hanging. Quick and easy sewing
once you have your design. Tops can be completed in class and can be
anywhere from 8” to 13” wide and 18” to 36” long depending on your design.
Strata quilts have small areas for fun and interesting quilting as well as
beading and embellishing if you choose. These narrow pieces are easy to
maneuver at your sewing machine so you can challenge yourself with new
quilting designs or some hand embroidery. Perfect quilts to play with some
embellishment!
October 22, 2023 is the last day for cancellations for this class.
Refunds/credits will not be issued after 10/22/23
