Roaring Through The 20's with Joan Hodgeboom

with Joan Hodgeboom

4 Session Class
January 11 & 12  and  February 15 & 16

This is a paper pieced project great for beginners, we well as advanced quilters.  One can make a wonderful quilt on their very first try since complicated patterns are broken down into easily managed steps.  Sewing the fabric to paper stabilizes the fabric, enabling one to use even the smallest of scraps.

The book (Roaring Through The 20's by Carolyn Cullinan McCormick)
gives you the options of 4" or 10" blocks - your choice.  If you choose the 4" blocks like my sample, you will be piecing on a thin fiber called "Pattern Ease".  This paper like material will be left in each block - no tearing the paper away from each block.  The 10" blocks will use the regular paper piecing method.
Each method is unique and fun!
