This is the perfect workshop if you want to get abit CRAZY with your scrap fabric, threads, and STITCHES!
It covers the following:
- Choice of fabric to create a pleasing balance and tips for sewing these fabrics to your foundation (by machine or hand).
- Auditioning threads and embellishments to use with different designs and texture.
- Using stitches on your machine, develop a sample of optional crazy stitches to add to your fabric. And... Learn 13-15 hand embroidery stitch combinations that you can expand/ distort to make your work more interesting!
- PLAY all day and make this traditional art more contemporary and creative!
You'll be amazed at your creativity and you'll see possibilities for repurposing old quilt tops, developing a whole world of textures to add to your projects! Sure hope you come join us! Small samples are at the shop with some BIG Stitches you can learn. Traditional crazy stitches and embroidery designs will be shared. Great for both left handers and right handers!
